The fine gold finishing on period bindings is typical of the style carried out by top binders in the late 19th & 20th century.
These books were bound by Old English Bindery as part of an ongoing collection.
All bound in full calf either mottled calf or a reddish tan colour, with marbled end papers. The inner boards are decorated with a decorative roll and single or double lines. the outer boards are decorated with double or triple lines and corner tools the edge of the boards have single or double lines and the spines are full guilt spines.
